WoW Forever Boats, Zeppelins and the Deeprun Tram: How to Cross the Sea

In World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever) you cross the sea by boat, zeppelin or the Deeprun Tram, and Method's October 14, 2026 route list names seven Alliance routes, four Horde routes and two neutral boats. The Stormwind Harbor to Auberdine ship and the Steamwheedle Port to Powderfuse Port boat are the two routes Method marks as new.

Quick answer: Alliance players sail from Stormwind Harbor to Auberdine, Horde players ride zeppelins between Orgrimmar, the Undercity and Grom'gol, and Ratchet and Booty Bay share a neutral boat. Thunder Bluff has no zeppelin in Forever, according to Warcraft Tavern. Details as of October 28, 2026.

How do Alliance players cross the sea in WoW Forever?

The Alliance has the most routes. Method lists Stormwind Harbor to Auberdine, Menethil to Theramore, Rut'theran Village to Auberdine and Feathermoon Stronghold to Forgotten Coast, plus a one-way loop that runs Auberdine to Menethil to Southshore and back to Auberdine. Warcraft Tavern's Night Elf guide says there is now a boat from Darnassus to Auberdine, that Auberdine "boasts three boats at this time", and that from Teldrassil the boat to Darkshore leaves from Rut'theran Village, reached by a teleporter in Darnassus.

Warcraft Tavern's Human guide says the Stormwind Harbor ship lands in Darkshore and ties Kalimdor directly to the Eastern Kingdoms, and that Night Elf players can join human quests without the Wetlands run. Stormwind and Ironforge are linked by the Deeprun Tram, entered through the Dwarven District. See the Darkshore and Wetlands guides for the ports at the far ends.

How do Horde players travel by zeppelin in WoW Forever?

Method's list gives the Horde Orgrimmar to the Undercity, the Undercity to Grom'gol and Orgrimmar to Grom'gol, and calls the Orgrimmar to Grom'gol route another way to reach Stranglethorn Vale. Warcraft Tavern's Orc guide agrees that Durotar has zeppelin routes to Stranglethorn Vale and Tirisfal Glades. See Orgrimmar and the Undercity for the cities themselves.

Is there a zeppelin from Thunder Bluff?

No. Warcraft Tavern's Tauren guide says Thunder Bluff has no zeppelin in Forever, because the city is based on Classic and the route came in later expansions. Warcraft Tavern says you must make the trip between the two capitals on foot to connect their flight paths, and that the Flight Master in Thunder Bluff is a quick jog away from the central mesa. The Thunder Bluff guide has more on the city.

Which boats are open to both factions?

Method lists two neutral routes. The Ratchet to Booty Bay boat is called the classic neutral boat and is not marked new. The Steamwheedle Port to Powderfuse Port boat is marked as a new route from Tanaris to the Riverglades. For the lands behind those ports, see the Barrens, Tanaris and Uldum and Riverglades guides.

How do Skyborne characters travel?

Method says Alliance Skyborne sail from Zephras Isle to Dalaran and then use a Skyborne-only portal to Stormwind, while Horde Skyborne go from Zephras Isle to Skywatcher Plateau, with no portal on the Horde side. See the Zephras Isle guide and how Skyborne unlock. The broader picture, including flight paths and your hearthstone, is in the travel guide.

What is not confirmed yet?

  • Transport type: Method groups its routes under headings for boats, zeppelins and the tram, but does not describe each route's vehicle in detail.
  • Times and costs: none of the opened pages gives schedules, fares or trip lengths.
  • Dates: Method's list is dated October 14, 2026 and Warcraft Tavern's race pages carry no date, so routes may change before launch.
  • Beta limits: Warcraft Tavern's beta guide says the beta cap stayed at level 30, and no opened source says which routes were available in the beta.

The free Lore Forever add-on adds readable zone and quest background while you play; it is fan-made.
