How to install an extra pack
  1. Unzip it into your AddOns folder, World of Warcraft\_forever_\Interface\AddOns (on a Mac, /Applications/World of Warcraft/_forever_/Interface/AddOns), so it sits next to the LoreForever folder, not inside it.
  2. Type /reload in game, or start the game if it's closed.
  3. Pick the voice under Options › AddOns › Lore Forever › Narration voices, or type /lore voice. Alliance and Horde lands play by themselves.

CurseForge and Setup do all of this for you. Updating by hand? Delete the old LoreForever folders first (LoreForever and each LoreForever_Voice_…), then unzip the new ones: unzipped over them, the old recordings stay and take up hundreds of megabytes for nothing. Not showing up? Watch for a doubled folder like AddOns\LoreForever_Voice_Female\LoreForever_Voice_Female\, and on the character screen tick AddOns › Load out of date AddOns. A voice that hasn't recorded a story hands it to the next voice in your order. Still stuck? Ask on Discord.
