WoW Forever Riverglades: Level Range, Location, Quests and How to Get There

Riverglades is a new leveling zone in World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever), on the east coast of the Eastern Kingdoms beside the Redridge Mountains, with more than 150 quests for both factions and the Krol'dok Stronghold dungeon at levels 40 to 45. Blizzard has not published the zone's level range in anything I opened; Warcraft Wiki and Gfinity both give 35 to 45.

Quick answer: Riverglades is a frontier of rivers and old grudges where the Brotherhood of the Horse, ogre clans and the Twilight's Hammer collide. Reach it by boat from Tanaris to Powderfuse Port, or, if you are Alliance, by a new path from the Redridge Mountains. Figures are as of October 24, 2026.

How to reach Riverglades in WoW Forever: the Alliance path from the Redridge Mountains, the neutral boat from Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris to Powderfuse Port, and flight paths at Farholde Keep for the Alliance and Rog'mar for the Horde. Levels 35 to 45 are reported by outside sources.
Ways into Riverglades: the Redridge path, the Tanaris boat and the two faction flight paths.

Past the last farms of Redridge the land flattens into wet green country, braided with slow rivers. Whoever holds it has held it against someone. Riverglades is new to Azeroth in Forever.

Where is Riverglades in WoW Forever?

Warcraft Tavern, summarizing the BlizzCon reveal, puts Riverglades on the east coast of the Eastern Kingdoms, bordered by the Redridge Mountains, the Swamp of Sorrows and the Badlands. Warcraft Wiki places it in southeastern Khaz Modan, east of the Badlands and the Burning Steppes. Icy Veins, on October 19, calls it a new zone connected to the Redridge Mountains on the shore. Warcraft Wiki says the zone exists only in Forever and is contested territory for PvP.

What level is Riverglades?

Gfinity, on October 7, gives levels 35 to 45, and Warcraft Wiki's zone page gives the same. Warcraft Tavern, writing earlier, called the range hard to gauge, and Icy Veins gave no range. The beta capped at level 30, below the reported range. Blizzard did correct the range of the dungeon inside the zone to 40 to 45. Read the new dungeons guide.

How do you get to Riverglades?

By sea, the simplest route for both factions. Warcraft Wiki lists a neutral boat between Powderfuse Port, the zone's goblin port, and Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris, and Gfinity names the same ferry. Warcraft Tavern says a neutral goblin port is confirmed.

Icy Veins reports that Alliance players get easy access through a new path from the Redridge Mountains and does not say how the Horde walk in. Warcraft Wiki lists a flight path at Farholde Keep for the Alliance and one at Rog'mar for the Horde. See the Alliance leveling zones and Horde leveling zones guides.

Who lives in Riverglades, and what happens there?

Icy Veins says the Brotherhood of the Horse, known from Warcraft II, was meant to ride with Turalyon to the Dark Portal, but some chased the fleeing Horde into Riverglades instead. Warcraft Wiki also places the Brotherhood of the Horse here, retreating from Horde forces after the Second War to footholds at Farholde and Meadowsbrook, and says it was still fighting to reclaim its lands about 25 years after the Dark Portal (Icy Veins spells the keep Farhold). The Horde, per both sources, allied with ogres who left the Twilight's Hammer, whom Icy Veins calls the Boulderrock Ogre Clan and Warcraft Wiki spells Bolder'ok.

Icy Veins lists quests to stop the Twilight's Hammer, wreck a pirate operation, escort a horse to safety and meet an ogre named Jom Jom. It also mentions an ogre arena, the Bloodmaster's Ring, without details. Warcraft Wiki names Farholde Keep (Alliance), Bolder'ok and Rog'mar (Horde) and Powderfuse Port (neutral) among the settlements. The free Lore Forever add-on shows quest background while you play, and Willo can read it aloud.

What is Krol'dok Stronghold?

Krol'dok Stronghold is the outdoor dungeon of Riverglades, an ogre fortress that Icy Veins says is contested by the Brotherhood of the Horse and the Boulderrock Ogre Clan against the Twilight's Hammer. Blizzard lists it at levels 40 to 45, after correcting an earlier 40 to 55 on September 15. Warcraft Wiki lists it as a 5-player dungeon.

What is not confirmed yet

  • Levels: no Blizzard figure for the zone; Warcraft Wiki and Gfinity say 35 to 45, and Warcraft Tavern's earlier article calls it hard to gauge.
  • Horde access: the only route confirmed in what I opened is the boat and the Rog'mar flight path.
  • Beta status: Gfinity says Riverglades was not in the beta, while Warcraft Wiki marks it as added in a beta patch.
  • Leveling role: whether it is a main route or an alternate path is the opinion of Warcraft Tavern and Icy Veins, not Blizzard.
