WoW Forever's Nine New Dungeons: Levels, Locations and Entrances

World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever) launches on November 4, 2026 with nine new dungeons, climbing from the Hall of Thanes under Ironforge at levels 13 to 18 to Shaper's Terrace in Un'Goro Crater at levels 58 to 60. Blizzard lists the level and location of all nine, and only City of Dalaran asks for an attunement questline before you enter.

Azeroth keeps its oldest secrets under stone, under water and behind gates, and a dungeon is only a door that someone finally dared to open. Nine of those doors are new in Forever, spread along the road from your first dozen levels to the last.

Which dungeons are new in WoW Forever, and what levels are they?

Blizzard's dungeon post, as relayed by Warcraft Tavern on October 20, gives each a level range and a place on the map.

Hall of Thanes (13-18): royal tombs beneath Ironforge in Dun Morogh; easy for the Alliance, a trek into Alliance land for the Horde. See the Hall of Thanes guide.

What do we know about the four deepest dungeons?

These are the ones nobody has played in the beta, so this is what Blizzard and its partners have said.

Krol'dok Stronghold is an outdoor ogre dungeon. Icy Veins' summary of the BlizzCon reveal speaks of kidnappings, raids on nearby settlements and chanting after nightfall, and its October 19 zone preview says the Brotherhood of the Horse and the Boulderrock Ogre Clan fight the Twilight's Hammer there.

Alcaz Prison is a once-unreachable prison where Defias and naga contest the halls. Warcraft Tavern reports Blizzard's description includes rumors of high-ranking prisoners, King Varian Wrynn among them.

Blackmaw Hold is the furbolg city of the Blackmaw clan, with corruption spreading through groves and tunnels. Warcraft Tavern, summarizing the official podcast on October 8, says it sits at a former unused entrance to Timbermaw Hold and has a larger footprint than Blackrock Depths. Developers said it is meant to be comfortable at level 60.

Shaper's Terrace is a titan facility with dinosaurs, tar pits and crystals. Blizzard says players bring power crystals gathered in Un'Goro to consoles inside; that is a task, not a key.

How do you get into City of Dalaran?

Blizzard says Dalaran requires an attunement questline. Alliance players begin with "An Alarming Request" from Emissary Jacques in Southshore. Horde players begin with "Key to the City" and "Prison Break-In" from Magus Wordeen Voidglare in Tarren Mill. Warcraft Tavern adds that you must earn the Kirin Tor's trust. The free Lore Forever add-on shows quest and zone background along the way, and the optional Willo voice companion reads it aloud.

What is not confirmed yet

Bosses and loot: Blizzard's post names no bosses, and I found no loot lists for the last five dungeons.
Level conflicts: Warcraft Wiki shows 15-22 for Ruins of Lordaeron where Blizzard says 15-20. Wowhead and Gfinity list City of Dalaran as 28-33 and also give 20-35 in their text.
The beta: Gfinity (October 9) says Hall of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron, Excavation Site and City of Dalaran were playable; Warcraft Tavern says The Drowned City was playable at BlizzCon.
Blackmaw Hold and Barrow Deeps: Blizzard's raid overview lists Blackmaw Hold as one of three places connected to the Barrow Deeps raid, and Icy Veins says the dungeon's tunnels lead that way. Blizzard's dungeon post does not describe the link, so how it works is unconfirmed.
