Winterspring

Winterspring is a vast, snow-covered valley nestled high along the northeastern slopes of Mount Hyjal, directly above the enchanted forests of Moonglade and Felwood. Known for its bitter cold, ancient Highborne ruins, and wandering apex predators, the region is anchored by the neutral goblin outpost of Everlook. It remains a land of fierce natural perils, sheltering remnants of the blue dragonflight while confronting demonic corruption along its southern heights.

Perched thousands of feet above the surrounding wilderness, Winterspring rests beneath crisp mountain air and relentless snowstorms. Enormous exposed roots of the World Tree, Nordrassil, cut through the snowdrifts like towering wooden arches, warped and twisted during the climactic struggles of the Third War. While much of northern Kalimdor is dominated by dense woodlands and warm climates, Winterspring is a quiet land of medium alpine forests, rocky bluffs, and frozen lakes, home to formidable frostsabers, chimaeras, yetis, and thick-furred winter bears.
