Mazthoril
Mazthoril is a massive, frostbitten cavern in central Winterspring that serves as the primary redoubt for the blue dragonflight in northern Kalimdor. Heavily guarded by dragonkin, spell-wielding wyrms, and arcane sentries, its winding ice tunnels conceal powerful magic and lead to the aerie of the reclusive blue matriarch Haleh.
A Bastion of Blue Dragons
Carved into the frozen mountains just south of Everlook, Mazthoril houses an extensive brood answering to the Spell-Weaver, Malygos. The cavern and its surrounding crags are patrolled by vigilant dragonkin including Spellmaw, Azurous, and General Colbatann, while elite guardians watch the inner caverns. Intruders who wander into Mazthoril face dragonspawn thoroughly attuned to raw arcane energy, making any venture inside perilous without serious preparation.
