Lake Kel'Theril
Lake Kel'Theril is a vast, frozen lake nestled in the heart of Winterspring. Along its ice-locked shores stand ancient kaldorei ruins haunted by restless spirits who have lingered since the Great Sundering.
A Frozen Tomb of the Highborne
Lake Kel'Theril is shrouded in eternal cold, its waters sealed under thick sheets of ice. Scattered across its surface and snowy banks are the shattered pillars and arches of ancient elven architecture. These are the remnants of Kel'Theril, once an outpost of the ancient Highborne civilization before the Great Sundering shattered Kalimdor. Rather than finding rest in death, the spirits of the fallen aristocracy wander the ice as tormented ghosts and specters, forever tethered to the tragic remnants of their former glory.
