Dun Mandarr
Dun Mandarr is an abandoned dwarven camp situated before an icy cavern in south-eastern Winterspring. Established by the dwarf Jaron Stoneshaper, the site now sits in ruins after its occupants fled an onslaught of enraged local moonkin.
A Forsaken Camp
Bearing the traditional dwarven prefix 'Dun', Dun Mandarr was established by the explorer Jaron Stoneshaper as a base of operations in the frozen reaches of southeastern Winterspring. Stoneshaper's curiosity proved his undoing when he uncovered a relic known as the Blue-Feathered Amulet. The artifact's disturbance provoked the fury of the native wildkin, who descended upon the encampment in an uncontrollable rage. Overwhelmed and driven out, the dwarves abandoned the camp entirely. Today, no friendly souls remain among the snowbanks; ferocious, territorial moonkin guard the cavern and prowl the broken shelters.
