Rivern Frostwind
Rivern Frostwind is a night elf riding instructor stationed high atop Frostsaber Rock in northern Winterspring. Accompanied by his frost tiger companion Glacier, he watches over the native wintersabers and trains riders deemed worthy by his order. Only the most dedicated champions of the Alliance are granted the honor of riding one of his prized mounts.
Master of the Frostsabers
Perched on the icy promontory of Frostsaber Rock, Rivern Frostwind oversees the breeding and stewardship of the legendary Winterspring frostsaber. While nightsabers roam the lush forests of Teldrassil and Ashenvale, their sub-arctic cousins are bred to endure the bitter cold of northern Kalimdor. Rivern acts as a gatekeeper for these majestic predators. He demands that outsiders prove their commitment to preserving the beasts—gathering fresh meat from the tundra, clearing out Winterfall furbolgs, and driving back rampaging frost giants—before he will even consider entrusting one of the sabers to them.
