WoW Forever Dustwallow Marsh Guide: Levels, Theramore, Brackenwall and Alcaz Island
Dustwallow Marsh is an Alliance-affiliated marsh in Kalimdor in World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever), listed at levels 35 to 45 by Warcraft Wiki, with the Horde at Brackenwall Village. Theramore Isle is its Alliance base, and Blizzard places the new Alcaz Prison dungeon on Alcaz Island, off its coast.

What level should you be?
Warcraft Wiki lists the zone at levels 35 to 45. Its Alliance quest listing shows The Missing Diplomat at levels 33 to 38, with other early quests at level 35 and up. Forever Changes' page header gives 35 to 60 for the zone's 55 quests, and its table also lists a level 30 quest (Highperch Venom). I did not find a Forever-specific range for the zone in a source I opened, so use 35 to 45 as a guide. The zone borders the Barrens and Thousand Needles. How do you get to Dustwallow Marsh?
Warcraft Wiki lists the flight paths above, and a boat from Theramore Isle to Menethil Harbor in the Wetlands. Read the Wetlands guide for the Alliance side of that crossing. By land, the marsh borders the Barrens and Thousand Needles. Both bases also list a flight to Gadgetzan, the gateway to Tanaris. The travel guide has the wider map.
Which quests can you do?
Warcraft Wiki's quest page shows the Alliance side, and the Horde listing was not visible in the part I read. The Alliance list includes The Missing Diplomat (levels 33 to 38), The Black Shield (35), the Renn McGill chain, which ends with Survey Alcaz Island, and the Lieutenant Paval Reethe quests (35 and 38). The wiki marks the Renn McGill chain with a Burning Crusade icon and some other quests Classic-only, so confirm in game that a quest is still offered. Alcaz Island appears in the Renn McGill chain as a place to survey.
What is Alcaz Island in Forever?
Warcraft Wiki describes Alcaz Island as a micro dungeon with elite monsters at levels 57 to 62, and says Varian Wrynn is held there. Blizzard's dungeon overview describes Alcaz Prison as a new Forever dungeon for levels 48 to 53 on Alcaz Island in Dustwallow Marsh. It mentions rumors of high-ranking prisoners, including King Varian Wrynn, says the prison's doors finally open, and describes the Defias Brotherhood and the naga fighting each other. Warcraft Tavern's table lists Alcaz Island Prison at 48 to 53 and new. These are two different descriptions, so read the Alcaz Prison guide for the dungeon and use the wiki's numbers only for the original island.
Where is Onyxia's Lair?

What is the story of the marsh?
Warcraft Wiki says the Sundering smashed a high plain into a valley and the rising water table created the marsh, that Jaina Proudmoore led her people here and founded Theramore, and that a skirmish between Rexxar's Stonemaul ogres and Admiral Proudmoore's force ended with the Admiral's death. It places the black dragonflight in the southern swamp, at Dragonmurk and Wyrmbog, and lists Onyxia. Read Theramore Isle explained and the Jaina Proudmoore story for more. - Level range: No source I opened shows a Blizzard-published range; 35 to 45 is Warcraft Wiki's.
