Silithus

The story

Silithus is a desolate, wind-scoured desert located in the far southwestern corner of Kalimdor. Beneath its arid sands lie vast colonies of insectoid silithid and the ancient ruins of Ahn'Qiraj, sealed millennia ago behind the formidable Scarab Wall. Today, the druids of the Cenarion Circle maintain an embattled vigil against creeping swarms, doomsday cultists, and mysterious crystalline anomalies.

Reaching Silithus requires navigating through the primeval jungle of Un'Goro Crater and ascending a wide, rocky pass nestled in its northwestern corner. The transition is stark: lush primordial growth vanishes into a vast expanse of shifting dunes, jagged stone, and unnatural towering hives. Water is virtually nonexistent, and the winds carry the hum of insect wings and the whispering sands. The Cenarion Circle maintains Cenarion Hold near the center of the desert, serving as the sole bastion of civilization and shelter for travelers, researchers, and warriors braving the hostile wastes.
