Hive'Regal
Hive'Regal is a massive silithid hive burrowed into the southern reaches of Silithus. As one of the three primary insectoid colonies dominating the arid wastes, it teems with aggressive silithid castes that threaten to overrun the surrounding desert.
The Southern Hive
Sprawling across southern Silithus, Hive'Regal represents one of the greatest concentrations of silithid activity in Kalimdor. Its towering resin spires and cavernous underground tunnels churn with dangerous insectoid broods, from venomous spitfires and burrowers to predatory slavemakers. The hive acts as a coordinated warren, aggressively defending its perimeter and harvesting organic material from any unfortunate travelers who wander too close to its borders.
Subterranean Network
Beneath the red sands, Hive'Regal's labyrinthine passages delve deep into the earth. Strange glyphs etched near its entrance and deep inside the tunnels suggest an organized intelligence directing the swarm rather than mere feral instinct. Scholars and scouts studying the silithid threat believe that Hive'Regal, along with its sister hives, functions as part of a larger emergent power stirring beneath the wastes of Silithus.
