Is There a Dungeon Finder in WoW Forever? What to Use

No: sources I opened say World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever) has no automatic Dungeon Finder, only a Looking For Group window where you list or browse groups and invite players by hand. Warcraft Tavern (September 14, 2026, from the BlizzCon demo) and TimeSaver (October 1) say so, and Blizzard's launch pages I read do not mention a finder, as of November 6, 2026.

Quick answer: Post your dungeon, role and level in the Looking For Group window or browse listings, and try zone chat and your guild. Then walk to the entrance together; meeting stones do not summon, per Warcraft Tavern. Groups must share a ruleset and faction.

How to get a dungeon group in WoW Forever without a dungeon finder: confirm ruleset and faction, open Looking For Group, list or browse with a playstyle and roles, invite players by hand or use chat and guild, then walk to the dungeon entrance or use a Warlock summon.
The manual route to a dungeon group in WoW Forever, from Warcraft Tavern, TimeSaver and Blizzard, as of November 6, 2026.

Key facts

  • Automatic queue or teleport: none described (Warcraft Tavern; TimeSaver)
  • The tool: a Classic-style Looking For Group listing window (Warcraft Tavern, September 14; TimeSaver, October 1)
  • Dungeon size: five players, usually a tank, a healer and damage dealers (Blizzard Starter Guide)
  • Who can group: the same ruleset and faction only (Blizzard)

Is there a dungeon finder in WoW Forever?

Not an automatic one. Warcraft Tavern's September 14 report says the demo showed a Looking For Group interface like WoW Classic's, which helps players organize groups but does not form them or teleport anyone; it found no Group Finder and no Meeting Stone summoning. TimeSaver (October 1, a boosting-service site) agrees: a listing board, no queue, no role matching. It also says named Blizzard designers confirmed this; I found no Blizzard page saying so. The Warcraft Tavern author says a full finder "doesn't look like" it is coming; that is the author's reading, not a Blizzard statement.

How do you find a dungeon group without one?

  1. Confirm everyone's ruleset and faction. Blizzard says you can group, run dungeons and raid only within the same ruleset and faction.
  2. Open the Looking For Group window. Warcraft Tavern's dungeon guide says to create a listing, pick a playstyle (Learning, Relaxed, Competitive or Carry Offered), choose your roles and say whether new players are welcome. No source I opened explains the playstyles.
  3. Or browse the Group Browser, filter by dungeon and message the leader (Warcraft Tavern).
  4. Try chat. TimeSaver says "LFM" posts in zone and general chat can fill faster than the listing in busy zones, and recommends an active guild as the best source of tanks and healers. See chat channels.
  5. Ask in the community. Blizzard's Starter Guide points new players to the official WoW Portal Room on Discord for companions.

Our looking for group guide covers what a request should say; dungeon groups covers roles.

How do you get to the dungeon?

You walk. Warcraft Tavern's dungeon guide says Meeting Stones cannot summon players. The exception is a Warlock whose party, with two other members already near the dungeon, casts Ritual of Summoning. Entrances and levels are in the dungeon level ranges and the dungeons overview.

Are there add-ons or roles that help?

Method's party leveling guide (November 1) says having a tank or healer in your party makes dungeon groups "much easier" to find; that is the author's view. CurseForge lists LFG Forever by Artefius for WoW Forever, updated November 6, adding role, class and level filters, language search and whisper management to the group finder. I did not test it.

What is not confirmed yet

  • Future finder: no Blizzard statement says one will or will not be added.
  • Playstyle meanings: unexplained in every source I opened.
  • Demo basis: Warcraft Tavern's first report came from the pre-launch BlizzCon demo.

Can the Lore Forever add-on and Willo help with this?

When you enter a dungeon, the free Lore Forever add-on links its primer in chat: an overview, why you are there and the bosses in order. Willo is a separate companion app for Windows 10 or 11 and Apple Silicon Macs (macOS 12 or later), per her page; her FAQ and the Lore Forever FAQ say Windows and Mac, though CurseForge still says Windows. She is free to start with 50 answers a day, and you can ask her out loud which dungeon suits your level. She can be wrong, is not official and does not find groups for you. Both are fan-made, not affiliated with Blizzard; the add-on has no internet access.
