WoW Forever Auction House Locations: Stormwind, Orgrimmar
The WoW Forever auction houses are in the capital cities: Stormwind, Ironforge and Darnassus for the Alliance, and Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff and Undercity for the Horde, with neutral auctioneers in Booty Bay, Gadgetzan and Everlook, according to AHLedger (latest scan November 5, 2026). Hearthproof lists the capital layout as unchanged from Classic and treats the neutral houses as Classic's, not confirmed. I found no Blizzard location list as of November 6, 2026.
Quick answer: Go to your faction's capital and look for the auctioneers: Stormwind and Darnassus for the Alliance, Orgrimmar for the Horde. Icy Veins, writing about the beta, says each of those cities has a mailbox beside or just outside the auction house. AHLedger says players of both factions meet only at the neutral houses, which Hearthproof treats as a Classic assumption.

Where is the auction house in Stormwind and Orgrimmar?
AHLedger puts the Stormwind auctioneers in the Trade District and Orgrimmar's in the Valley of Strength. Wowhead's Forever database lists Auctioneer Fitch and Auctioneer Chilton in Stormwind City, but its page did not show me a street. The Warcraft Wiki's auctioneer list puts a Trader's Hall entry in Stormwind's Trade District and an Auction House in its Dwarven District. Icy Veins (a beta-era article) says Stormwind's auction house has a mailbox outside and Orgrimmar has a similar setup, and that Blizzard removed an invisible wall between the barber shop area and the Stormwind auction house.
Orgrimmar may have more than one. The Warcraft Wiki's auctioneer list, which does not label game versions for these entries, shows auctioneers in the Valley of Strength, Valley of Honor, Valley of Wisdom, the Goblin Slums and the Valley of Spirits. I did not confirm which exist in Forever.
Which cities have an auction house?
AHLedger's list of six capitals is above. It says the three houses of a faction share one pool, so a listing in one appears in the others. Hearthproof describes Classic as three linked houses per faction and lists Forever's location as "Unchanged", marking this as a Classic baseline and not a Forever confirmation. Darnassus gained a mailbox beside its house during the beta, per Icy Veins.
Is there an auction house outside the capitals?
Hearthproof says Valanaar on Zephras Isle has an auction house and a bank, verified on the beta in the week of September 24 to 30, and that the Favor hand-in camps have an auctioneer or banker beside the crate turn-in depending on the time of day. Both are single-source beta observations.
Where do Horde and Alliance trade with each other?
AHLedger says the neutral auctioneers in Gadgetzan, Booty Bay and Everlook take listings from both factions and are the only place the two meet, and that they keep a larger share of each sale (see the deposit and fees page for its 5% and 15% figures). Hearthproof treats them as Classic's, status "Classic spec", not confirmed. It lists "each faction has its own auction house" as the Classic reading and notes a competing reading of one house for both factions per ruleset, which it says launch would settle.

Can the Lore Forever add-on and Willo help with this?
The free Lore Forever add-on has stories for the capitals. Willo can answer "where is the auction house in Orgrimmar" out loud, but she can be wrong and is not official, so the minimap and in-game text come first. Willo is free to start (50 answers a day) and is a separate companion app for Windows 10 or 11 and Apple Silicon Macs (macOS 12 or later), per her page; her FAQ and the Lore Forever FAQ say Windows and Mac, though CurseForge still calls her a Windows app. The add-on has no internet access and uses generated voices; both are fan-made and not affiliated with Blizzard.
