Tarren Mill

Tarren Mill is a beleaguered Forsaken outpost nestled in the northern reaches of the Hillsbrad Foothills beneath the Alterac Mountains. Once a peaceful human farming village, it now serves as the primary bastion of the Horde in Hillsbrad, locked in constant conflict with the Alliance town of Southshore to the south.

Before the Third War, Tarren Mill was a thriving agricultural township loyal to the Kingdom of Lordaeron. During the Second War, it earned renown when Alliance forces rescued captured high elven archers from nearby orc encampments, securing Quel'Thalas's full commitment to the Alliance of Lordaeron. Today, however, the town's original living inhabitants are gone, replaced by the Forsaken. The town's architecture stands weathered and decayed, its fields barren, and its old mill silent as the new undead occupants fortify the settlement against constant threats from mountain beasts, Syndicate outlaws, and Alliance skirmishers.
