Southshore
The story
Southshore is a coastal human port in the Hillsbrad Foothills and one of the Alliance's few surviving strongholds in fallen Lordaeron. Once a sleepy fishing village, it now stands as an embattled bastion facing constant hostility from the Forsaken garrison at Tarren Mill, rogue Syndicate bandits, and shoreline monsters.
Southshore first rose to prominence during the First War when refugee boats carrying survivors from the fallen kingdom of Stormwind landed upon its beaches. Though contested and overrun during the Second War, it was rebuilt and later endured the horrors of the Third War. Today, while the rest of Lordaeron lies in ruins or under the rule of the Forsaken, Southshore remains fiercely loyal to the Grand Alliance. It offers shelter to displaced human survivors, veteran paladins of the Silver Hand, and scholars of the Kirin Tor.
