Marshal Dughan

Marshal Dughan is the commanding officer of the Stormwind Army detachment stationed in Goldshire. Tasked with protecting the heart of Elwynn Forest, he finds his local garrison stretched thin against growing incursions of kobolds, gnolls, and bandits. To keep the crossroads town and surrounding farmsteads safe, he relies heavily on independent adventurers.

Stationed prominently in Goldshire outside the Lion's Pride Inn, Marshal Dughan bears the heavy burden of keeping Elwynn Forest secure while Stormwind's military resources are tied up elsewhere. The surrounding woods are steadily deteriorating: vermin choke the mines, gnolls mass along the riverbanks, and highwaymen harass travelers along the King's Road. With too few footmen under his direct command, Dughan orchestrates local defense by directing fresh recruits to reinforce outposts and scout contested ground.
