Jasperlode Mine

Jasperlode Mine is an iron and mineral excavation in north-central Elwynn Forest that once supplied Stormwind City with vital resources. Today, the shafts are overrun by swarming kobolds and deadly giant spiders, leaving the resource-strapped kingdom unable to reclaim it.

Jasperlode Mine was historically one of Stormwind's most productive mining operations, providing steady mineral wealth alongside nearby Fargodeep. With the kingdom's military stretched thin defending against external threats and unrest, local garrisons have been unable to protect the shafts. Kobolds seized the opportunity to burrow inside, driving human miners out and stockpiling stolen gold and tallow candles.
