Fargodeep Mine

Fargodeep Mine is an abandoned gold mine nestled in central Elwynn Forest, south of Goldshire. Once a productive source of wealth for the Kingdom of Stormwind, it has recently been overrun by a belligerent clan of kobolds.

Fargodeep Mine once provided steady gold to Stormwind's treasury, but the Kingdom's dwindling military presence in Elwynn has left outlying resources vulnerable. Kobolds quickly swarmed into the dark tunnels, establishing a bustling warren beneath the hills. Marshal Dughan and the local authorities in Goldshire view the infestation with deep concern, not only because of lost ore, but because the emboldened creatures now threaten nearby farmsteads like the Stonefield and Maclure holdings.
