Gold Dust
Gold Dust consists of fine flecks of precious metal sifted and hoarded by the kobolds infesting the mines of Elwynn Forest. While ordinary miners seek intact ore veins, local opportunists pay good coin to anyone willing to pry these gathered particles from the vermin.
A Pouch Full of Scraps
Beneath the soil of Elwynn Forest, kobolds scratch away at the subterranean tunnels of the Fargodeep and Jasperlode mines. Rather than properly refining the ore they uncover, the rat-like creatures often hoard coarse gold dust directly in their pockets and pouches. These small, glittering shavings represent the tedious labor of subterranean scavenging, easily overlooked by proper mining syndicates but intensely coveted by local peddlers and fences looking to turn a quiet profit without paying official smelting tariffs.
