Aku'mai

Aku'mai is a monstrous, three-headed hydra dwelling in the sunken ruins of Blackfathom Deeps along the Zoram Strand. Imbued with primordial shadow and favored by the ancient Old Gods, the beast is revered as a herald of apocalyptic ruin. The Twilight's Hammer cult tends to the creature in its submerged lair, offering living sacrifices to sate its eternal hunger.

Long before cultists claimed the sunken temple beneath the sea, Aku'mai haunted the coast of Ashenvale as a living blight upon the Zoram Strand. A creature of deep water and darker powers, this gargantuan hydra carries a fragment of the Old Gods' ancient malevolence within its three ravenous heads. Rather than an ordinary denizen of the tides, Aku'mai is an ancient terror that has lurked in the submerged ruins since the fall of the night elves' temple to Elune, poisoning the waters with Void-tainted malice.
