Zoram Strand

The Zoram Strand is a windswept coastline lining the northwestern edge of Ashenvale along the Veiled Sea. Once the site of an ancient night elven city swallowed by the Great Sundering, the shore is now plagued by Wrathtail naga, shipwrecks, and beached leviathans. It also holds the entrance to the submerged temple complex of Blackfathom Deeps.

Ten thousand years ago, the grand night elven city of Zoram graced these shores before the Great Sundering tore Kalimdor apart and cast the settlement into the ocean depths. Today, the tide continually washes up ancient relics, remnants of shattered vessels, and the carcasses of massive sea beasts. The Wrathtail naga have overrun the beaches and tidal pools, fiercely guarding the flooded ruins and ancient artifacts against anyone daring to approach.
