WoW Forever Tailoring Guide: Trainers, Cloth Ladder, Reagent Bags and Camp Banner
Tailoring in World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever) is a primary crafting profession that weaves cloth into armor and reagent bags, and it pairs with Enchanting. You learn it from a trainer, then train Journeyman, Expert and Artisan as your skill passes 50, 125 and 200.
Quick answer: Learn Tailoring from a capital or starting-zone trainer, pair it with Enchanting, and work up the cloth ladder from Linen to Runecloth. Enchanting turns spare cloth gear into dust. The camp Faction Banner, Spinning Wheel and Loom unlock at skill 20, 140 and 300.
Cloth is the quietest armor in Azeroth. It does not turn a blade or ring against a shield, yet the robe on a priest's back and the bag at an adventurer's hip began as a bolt of cloth on someone's loom. Tailors measure a road in thread: linen first, then wool, silk and mageweave, and at last runecloth.

Where do you learn Tailoring in WoW Forever?
Look for a loom, a bolt of linen, and a trainer who has seen a great many dresses. kami-labs and Gfinity Esports both list Alliance trainers Lawrence Schneider in Stormwind, Uthrar Threx in Ironforge and Trianna in Darnassus. For the Horde, both name Victor Ward in Undercity, and both list Magar in Orgrimmar.
On Zephras Isle, both sources place Othesia Evengale in Valanaar and Taleen Shimmerthread in Shen'dar Village; see the Zephras Isle guide. The highest-rank trainers are Timothy Worthington on Theramore Isle in Dustwallow Marsh for the Alliance and Daryl Stack at Tarren Mill in Hillsbrad Foothills for the Horde.
What do the Tailoring ranks require?
Each rank is another bolt on the loom. kami-labs lists Journeyman at skill 50 and level 10, Expert at 125 and level 20, and Artisan at 200 and level 35. Warcraft Tavern gives the same gates for all professions.
Gfinity says a Tailor needs no gathering profession, because humanoid enemies drop cloth, though Warcraft Tavern still recommends Enchanting. See the professions guide for the two-profession rule.
How do you level Tailoring in WoW Forever?
Leveling follows the cloth. Gfinity's route runs from Bolts of Linen through Woolen Cape, Double-Stitched Woolen Shoulders, Silk, Mageweave and finally Runecloth, and kami-labs names the same Woolen, Silk, Mageweave and Runecloth steps among its changed recipes. Gfinity estimates about 2,300 Runecloth for the last stretch to 300, which it calls approximate. kami-labs says several recipes from skill 229 on were changed after the beta, so steps in that range cannot be checked yet.

What are the Tailoring camp items?
A tailor's camp is a banner snapping in the wind. Blizzard's deep dive recap says each profession has three camp objects and names the Tailor's Faction Banner as a Spirit buff. Method lists the Faction Banner at skill 20, the Spinning Wheel at 140 and the Loom at 300.
WoW Professions says the Faction Banner gives Spirit to your faction's players, does not stack with Divine Spirit, and comes in separate Horde and Alliance versions. The Spinning Wheel Blueprint drops from Unstable Sentinel in Dalaran. The Loom Blueprint source is unknown. The camping guide covers the rules.
What is new in Tailoring compared with Classic?
Warcraft Tavern says vendors in the BlizzCon demo sold new Tailoring patterns for cloth sets, such as Black, Fiery, Frothing and Radiant, with Intellect, Stamina and a damage or healing bonus. It adds Magenta, Cerulean and Viridian dyes that non-Tailors can use, a Mageweave and a Runecloth Reagent Bag, and a title item needing skill 300. It also says there are no new types of craftable item.

- kami-labs says its figures come from beta data, which stopped at skill 225.
- kami-labs mentions a Cloth Scavenging bonus announced at BlizzCon, but Warcraft Tavern says Forever has no passive profession bonuses.
- kami-labs calls Timothy Worthington and Daryl Stack "Masters" trainers, while Gfinity calls them Artisan trainers.
- kami-labs makes Georgio Bolero an Artisan trainer, while Gfinity and WoW Professions list him as Expert.
- The Loom Blueprint location is unknown.
