WoW Forever Reputation Guide: How Standings Work
Reputation in World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever) is your standing with each faction, running from Hated to Exalted, and the Warcraft Wiki lists 3,000, 6,000, 12,000 and 21,000 points to climb out of Neutral, Friendly, Honored and Revered. Warcraft Tavern's Nightclaw Druids guide uses the same four figures for a Forever faction, but no Blizzard page opened for this review states the reputation rules.
Quick answer: Non-repeatable quests pay a fixed amount, many factions add repeatable quests, and killing a rival's members can cost standing. Adding the wiki's four figures gives 42,000 points from Neutral to Exalted. Factions new to Forever are reported but still provisional.

A faction remembers what you did for it, and its shopkeepers bring out the good stock once you have earned it.
Key facts

What are the reputation standings?
The Warcraft Wiki's Reputation page lists eight standings, from lowest to highest: Hated, Hostile, Unfriendly, Neutral, Friendly, Honored, Revered and Exalted. At Unfriendly, NPCs will not buy, sell or interact with you, and at Hostile you are attacked on sight. Some factions start you at Hated. The page covers the whole game, including later expansions, so read it as the general system. To look at your own standings, the wiki says to press U or open the Character window and choose the Reputation tab; Method says the C key is unchanged in Forever.
How many points does each standing need?
The wiki gives the points needed to advance past each standing: 3,000 at Neutral, 6,000 at Friendly, 12,000 at Honored and 21,000 at Revered, with Exalted as the top. It gives 36,000 points for Hated and 3,000 each for Hostile and Unfriendly. Warcraft Tavern's Nightclaw Druids table lists 3,000, 6,000, 12,000 and 21,000 for Friendly, Honored, Revered and Exalted, and ExpCarry, a boosting service, prints the same four (updated October 26). Adding them gives 42,000, which is arithmetic, not a published total. The wiki also says vendor discounts changed in Patch 2.3.0 from a flat 10% starting at Honored, so which rule Forever uses is not confirmed.
How do you earn and lose reputation?
According to the Warcraft Wiki, non-repeatable quests give a fixed amount, many factions have repeatable quests, and faction-specific NPCs give reputation when killed. It also says killing members of some factions, or helping their rivals, costs reputation; its rival pairs include Steamwheedle Cartel against the Bloodsail Buccaneers. For Forever, Warcraft Tavern says Nightclaw reputation comes from Shadowgale Forest quests, which reach about halfway through Friendly, then from turning in Al'Aketh Cultist's Ears. ExpCarry (updated October 26), a single source, adds that a Legacy perk called Diplomat has five ranks of 2% each, up to 10% more reputation gain.
Which factions are new in WoW Forever?
Kami Labs (September 17, 2026) reports names datamined from the beta files, which it calls provisional: Windshapers and High Order on Zephras Isle, Guardians of Hyjal, Barkskin Burrow and Cenarion Scouts on Mount Hyjal, Darkspear Raiders and Theramore Expeditionary Force on the Darkspear Islands, Kirin Tor in Dalaran, plus five others such as the Earthen Ring. Its headline says 17 but the text names 13, and ExpCarry (October 26) lists 14 including Nightclaw Druids. The Warcraft Wiki's Classic reputation guide describes the Argent Dawn in the Plaguelands, the Cenarion Circle at Cenarion Hold in northern Silithus and Timbermaw Hold in northern Felwood. Whether they appear in Forever is covered in the Argent Dawn, Cenarion Circle, Bloodsail and Stormpike and Frostwolf articles.
What is not confirmed yet
- No Blizzard page opened states Forever's reputation rules; the Warcraft Wiki page is general and mixes later patches.
- The new-faction list is a datamine report and may change; 17, 13 and 14 are three different counts.
- The Nightclaw repeatable value is disputed: Warcraft Tavern lists 1,000 for five ears, while ExpCarry says beta testers reported 200 and advises checking the live value.
- Vendor discounts, tabards and rewards for most factions have no Forever source in this review.
The free Lore Forever add-on, which is fan-made, lists Zephras Isle, home of the Nightclaw Druids, among the places it covers.
