Valley of Kings
The story
The Valley of Kings is a lush canyon nestled in the southwestern corner of Loch Modan, directly south of the passage to Dun Morogh. It serves as a heavily watched gateway into the fiery Searing Gorge, flanked by monumental stone figures carved in memory of the War of the Three Hammers. Travelers venturing here walk beneath ancient dwarven history while facing the immediate threat of Blackrock encroachers and troggs.
The valley's most commanding feature is the pair of colossal statues depicting King Madoran Bronzebeard and High Thane Khardros Wildhammer. Carved by joint commission from their sons following their deaths, these stone titans overlook the pass into the scorched southlands. They stand as a lasting monument to the allied victory in the War of the Three Hammers and an eternal warning against the Dark Iron clan, reminding all who look south of the ruin brought upon the Redridge Mountains by the summoning of Ragnaros.
