Captain Rugelfuss

Positioned near the monumental carved arches of the Valley of Kings, Captain Rugelfuss oversees the southern gateway into Loch Modan. With Alliance forces stretched thin across the world, Ironforge relies on veteran officers like him to keep the home territories secure. Rugelfuss dismisses military pomp and formalities, preferring to focus entirely on the grim reality facing the border.

The primary crisis demanding Rugelfuss's attention is the swelling trogg threat. Unearthed from ancient caverns and surging into the highlands, these savage brutes have overwhelmed outlying dwarven patrols and established fortified footholds nearby. Under the banner of defending the King's lands, the captain recruits capable travelers to cull their ranks and push the creatures back from the roadway.
