Stormwind Keep

Stormwind Keep stands high above the capital as the stone fortress and seat of power for the Kingdom of Stormwind. Rebuilt after its ruin in the First War, it currently houses the royal court of the young boy-king Anduin Wrynn and his regent, Highlord Bolvar Fordragon.

Perched upon a plateau overlooking the entire city, Stormwind Keep serves as both a palace and a military bastion. The original stronghold was burned to the ground by the Old Horde when King Llane was assassinated near the end of the First War. Raised anew upon the old foundations after the Alliance reclaimed the kingdom, the reconstructed keep houses not only the grand throne room and the War Room, but peaceful garden courtyards and the expansive Royal Library.
