Petitioner's Chamber
The story
The Petitioner's Chamber, also known as the Hall of Petitioners, is an antechamber situated just off the main entrance ramp of Stormwind Keep. It serves as an official waiting room for nobility, church dignitaries, and visiting subjects seeking an audience with the crown. Those lingering here often pass the hours mingling, drinking, or waiting upon the regent's pleasure.
Found immediately to the right upon ascending into Stormwind Keep, the Petitioner's Chamber is where matters of state meet everyday bureaucracy. Nobles such as Count Remington Ridgewell and high-ranking clergy like Bishop DeLavey pass their time in these halls while waiting for an audience with the boy-king Anduin Wrynn and Highlord Bolvar Fordragon. Behind the polished veneer of courtly etiquette, it is an ideal corner of the castle for gossip, quiet lobbying, and discerning who truly holds influence within the realm.
