Nightsong Woods

Nightsong Woods forms the embattled eastern expanse of Ashenvale, reaching from Raynewood Retreat toward the borders of Azshara. It serves as the primary battleground between the night elves defending their sacred forest and the Warsong clan harvesting lumber for the Horde. Across its shadowed glades, ancient groves clash with fortified encampments amidst persistent demonic corruption.

Stretching eastward across Ashenvale to Azshara, Nightsong Woods is defined by escalating violence. The Falfarren River bisects the western reaches, creating a volatile boundary between Alliance settlements and Horde encroachments. Further east, the forest fractures into heavily disputed territories where Splintertree Post coordinates Horde campaigns against the Silverwing Sentinels and Forest Song. Orcish axes continuously clear southern groves to fuel the Horde's expansion, leaving clear-cut swaths that infuriate the Kaldorei. Adding to the peril, satyr strongholds like Satyrnaar and Xavian, alongside demonic remnants in Demon Fall Canyon and Felfire Hill, taint the eastern canopies.
