Splintertree Post

Splintertree Post is the primary Horde fortress in eastern Ashenvale, situated northwest of Felfire Hill. Established by Grommash Hellscream and the Warsong clan during the Third War, it serves as a heavily fortified bulwark against the night elves and a staging ground for territorial expansion.

Carved straight out of the ancient woodlands, Splintertree Post serves as the Horde's main military and logistical hub across eastern Ashenvale. Originally established by Grommash Hellscream and the Warsong clan when orcs first pressed into the forest during the Third War, it remains a heavily armed enclave defended primarily by orcish and tauren scouts and warriors. Armed with a flight master, an inn, and steady supply lines to Orgrimmar, it anchors the Horde's contested presence beneath the canopy.
