Satyrnaar

Satyrnaar is an ancient, ruined night elf settlement in northeastern Ashenvale that has fallen entirely into the hands of the Bleakheart satyrs. Perched just off the main road between Splintertree Post and Azshara, it is the most intact and easily accessible of the satyr strongholds in the forest.

Located northeast of Splintertree Post and southwest of Forest Song, Satyrnaar stands as one of Ashenvale's three primary satyr settlements alongside Xavian and Night Run. Unlike the deeper wilderness ruins, Satyrnaar is relatively well-preserved, featuring pitched tents nestled among crumbled elven architecture. It serves as a bustling camp for the Bleakheart satyrs, making the nearby trade route fraught with peril for travelers moving east toward Azshara. Furthermore, dark ties fester here: the satyrs have forged an alliance with the shadowy Cult of the Dark Strand, harboring one of their insidious soulgems amidst the corrupted stones.
