Warsong Lumber Camp
The story
The Warsong Lumber Camp is a fortified orc logging operation deep in Ashenvale, run by the Warsong clan to harvest timber for the Horde. Anchored by the fortified Kargathia Keep, it stands as both an economic lifeline for nearby Horde settlements and an unrelenting provocation to the night elves. The constant sound of goblin-built shredders chewing through ancient boughs makes this clearing a primary flashpoint of the forest war.
Carved straight out of the dense canopy of eastern Ashenvale, the Warsong Lumber Camp is the industrial engine fueling the Horde's expansion across Kalimdor. Orc peons and hired goblin engineers strip the forest with whirring shredders, processing towering trunks into lumber to reinforce outpost walls like nearby Splintertree Post and build up the fledgling nation of Durotar. The camp is heavily fortified against constant night elf counterattacks, centering on the stockades of Kargathia Keep and an active kennel for the clan's fierce war wolves. For the Warsong, every felled tree is survival and strength; for the native Sentinels, every saw blade is an act of sacrilege.
