Hall of Explorers
The story
The Hall of Explorers is the sprawling archaeological wing of Ironforge and the bustling headquarters of the dwarven Explorers' League. Part museum, part archive, and part expedition command, it gathers relics, fossils, and ancient tomes from every corner of Azeroth to piece together the forgotten origins of the dwarven race.
Occupying the northeastern cavern of Ironforge, the Hall of Explorers—sometimes referred to as the Assembly of Explorers—serves as the nerve center for all Alliance-sanctioned archaeological endeavors. Under the direction of High Explorer Muninn Magellas, scholars and field agents coordinate digs across distant lands, shipping back mysterious relics, ancient titan machinery, and prehistoric bones. The vast Library at its center functions as both a public museum and a restricted storehouse of historical lore. Beyond pure scholarship, the hall maintains quiet ties to Stormwind intelligence, occasionally sharing sensitive discoveries or trading strategic information directly with SI:7 agents under the cover of academic study.
