Laris Geardawdle
Laris Geardawdle is an eccentric gnomish researcher stationed in the Library of the Hall of Explorers in Ironforge. He dedicates his academic life to studying the bizarre nature and origins of oozes across Azeroth. Adventurers willing to collect noxious slime samples find him an eager, if slightly unhinged, patron.
Scholar of Slime
Tucked away among the towering bookshelves and ancient relics of the Hall of Explorers, Laris Geardawdle pursues a rather unglamorous niche of natural philosophy: the genesis of oozes. While his dwarven colleagues pore over Titan tablets and ancient stone carvings, Laris is convinced that Azeroth's vile, gelatinous horrors hold fascinating alchemical and biological secrets. He tasks roving explorers with gathering caustic samples from remote corners of the world, eager to test his strange hypotheses on how these mindless puddles of malice come to life.
