Package of Empty Ooze Containers
This package is a kit of specialized, empty specimen jars supplied by the gnome researcher Laris Geardawdle in Ironforge. Intended for dangerous field sampling in the blighted forests of Felwood, it contains jars designed to safely hold tainted and cursed ooze extracts without dissolving.
Field Research Equipment
Containing a dozen empty jars—split between containers meant for cursed and tainted oozes—this kit was assembled by Laris Geardawdle for intrepid travelers heading out to Felwood. Because raw ooze specimens are notoriously caustic and prone to digesting ordinary luggage, sturdy, sealed glass is essential for transporting the acidic residues across continents back to the tinker's workbench in Ironforge.
The Mystery of the Ooze
Geardawdle's interest in ooze is far from a simple eccentric hobby. Noticing that Forsaken researchers from the Royal Apothecary Society routinely harvest these bizarre organisms across Azeroth, he suspects oozes may hold profound secrets about the world's origin. Geardawdle theorizes that slimes might be primordial secretions connected to the planet's very creation, and he relies on field agents using this kit to collect the evidence he needs to win acclaim within the Explorers' League.
