Krom Stoutarm
Krom Stoutarm is a dwarven scholar and warlock found deep within the Library of the Hall of Explorers in Ironforge. Unlike most of his kin who delve solely into ancient stone and titan relics, Krom studies darker, arcane texts and demonic rituals. He acts as an indispensable contact for Alliance warlocks seeking esoteric knowledge across Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.
A Darker Corner of the Hall
The Hall of Explorers is typically known for dwarven archaeologists obsessed with picks, shovels, and titan artifacts. Krom Stoutarm cuts an unusual figure among them. Lurking in the Library surrounded by massive tomes, he pursues occult lore and the binding rites of demonic summoners. His presence in Ironforge demonstrates that while warlock arts are widely distrusted, scholar-practitioners who study the forbidden arts still operate within the mountain city's halls.
The Tome of the Cabal
When Alliance warlocks seek to bind potent demonic servants like the felhunter, their journey inevitably crosses paths with Krom. Possessing knowledge of scattered occult volumes, he directs aspiring summoners far across the seas—including dangerous forays among the centaur of Thousand Needles—to recover torn pages and fragments of the infamous Tome of the Cabal.
