Moldy Tome
The Moldy Tome is a water-damaged, salvaged remnant containing half of the original Tome of the Cabal. Lost in a shipwreck off the coast of Hillsbrad Foothills, it holds dark esoteric rituals coveted by warlocks seeking to master demonic summonings.
Lost to the Waves
The Tome of the Cabal was a singular, irreplaceable treatise on dark arts once held within the kingdom of Lordaeron. At some point in its murky history, the grimoire was ruthlessly vandalized and split in two. The portion now designated as the Moldy Tome was being transported south by ship toward Menethil Harbor and Ironforge. The vessel never reached its destination, succumbing to the treacherous waters west of Southshore. Swept ashore south of Azurelode Mine, the surviving half lay ruined by damp and surf amidst the scavenging murlocs that stalk the Hillsbrad coast.
