Varimathras

Varimathras is a dreadlord of the nathrezim race who serves as the chief lieutenant and military advisor to Lady Sylvanas Windrunner. Forced to pledge loyalty to the Banshee Queen after suffering defeat during the civil war for Lordaeron, he now stands at her right hand in the Royal Quarter of the Undercity.

Before the Third War, Varimathras and his fellow dreadlords worked directly under Kil'jaeden to break and reshape the spirit of Ner'zhul into the Lich King. Bound alongside his brothers Detheroc and Balnazzar, he oversaw the Scourge in Lordaeron while Archimonde invaded Kalimdor. When the Legion fell at Mount Hyjal, the triumvirate remained entrenched in the ruins of the Capital City, entirely unaware of their master's demise until Prince Arthas returned to drive them into hiding.
