Scarlet Insignia Ring

Every fighting member of the Scarlet Crusade in Tirisfal Glades—from fresh neophytes and zealous friars to seasoned captains like Melrache and Perrine—carries an insignia ring. Marked with the Crusade's fiery sigil, the rings identify brother and sister within an organization consumed by paranoia. To outsiders and enemies, however, these trinkets serve entirely different purposes: they are unmistakable identifiers of Lordaeron's most fanatical human remnant.

Under the direct mandate of Varimathras, Lady Sylvanas's dreadlord lieutenant, Deathguard Burgess in Brill actively collects these rings. The Forsaken consider the Scarlet Crusade an intolerable pestilence crawling across their newly claimed homeland. For Forsaken recruits, bringing stacks of these rings back to Brill is treated as undeniable proof of demise and a direct affirmation of loyalty to the throne of the Undercity.
