Jaina Proudmoore

Lady Jaina Proudmoore is the ruler of Theramore Isle and the most powerful human sorceress alive. Formerly a star pupil of Dalaran's Kirin Tor, she led the survivors of Lordaeron across the Great Sea and now strives to maintain a fragile peace between the Alliance and the New Horde.

The daughter of Grand Admiral Daelin Proudmoore of Kul Tiras, Jaina showed remarkable aptitude for the arcane at an early age and studied under Archmage Antonidas in Dalaran. During the Third War, she investigated the mysterious Plague of Undeath alongside Prince Arthas Menethil, witnessing firsthand the tragic downfall of Lordaeron. Guided by the warnings of the Prophet Medivh, she rallied an expedition of human survivors and set sail westward to the forgotten continent of Kalimdor. There, her forces forged an unprecedented alliance with Thrall's Horde and the night elves, standing together atop Mount Hyjal to defeat Archimonde and shatter the Burning Legion's invasion.
