When Do WoW Forever Servers Go Live? Time and Status
World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever) servers go live on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PST, which is 23:00 UTC, according to Blizzard. That is 6:00 p.m. EST, 5:00 p.m. CST, 4:00 p.m. MST, 11:00 p.m. in the UK and midnight CET going into November 5. This is the answer to "what time do WoW Forever servers open" as of the morning of November 4, 2026.
Quick answer: Launch is 3:00 p.m. PST today. Blizzard Support lists the game as unavailable from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PST for maintenance. Check status on Blizzard's own pages, listed below.
Convert once, then set an alarm.
Key facts
- Launch: November 4, 2026, 3:00 p.m. PST, 23:00 UTC (Blizzard launch post, dated November 3)
- Maintenance: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PST on November 4, "Game unavailable during this time" (Blizzard Support Weekly Maintenance Schedule)
- Not in Blizzard's table: EST, CST and MST; I converted those from 23:00 UTC
- Realm Status page: no WoW: Forever entry this morning
What time do WoW Forever servers open in my time zone?
Blizzard's table gives Americas (PST) 3:00 p.m., Brazil 8:00 p.m., UK 11:00 p.m., Europe (CET) 12:00 a.m. on November 5, Taiwan 7:00 a.m., Korea 8:00 a.m. and Australia and New Zealand (AEDT) 10:00 a.m. on November 5. The EST, CST and MST times above are my conversions from 23:00 UTC, with the US on standard time since November 1. More cities: launch time by time zone and launch time.
Is there maintenance before WoW Forever goes live?
Yes. Blizzard Support's Weekly Maintenance Schedule, which says all times are PST, lists "World of Warcraft: Forever" with a window on November 3 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and another on November 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., both marked "Game unavailable during this time." That first-party schedule matches the second-hand account: TimeSaver quoted a Battle.net app notice with the same hours, and Wowhead said about five hours. In your time zone the November 4 window starts at 1:00 p.m. EST, 12:00 p.m. CST, 11:00 a.m. MST, 6:00 p.m. UK and 7:00 p.m. CET (my conversions).
Where do I check whether WoW Forever servers are down?
- Blizzard Support's maintenance schedule: the page above, plus its "Breaking News" link on Support home. It points to @BlizzardCS on X and @support.blizzard.com on Bluesky for further updates.
- The Realm Status page: I opened it this morning. Its Game Version menu listed World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft Classic, Burning Crusade Classic and Mists of Pandaria Classic, with no WoW: Forever. Blizzard describes Forever as having rulesets rather than a realm-selection screen, so whether a Forever status list will appear there is unconfirmed.
- Outlets: TimeSaver says its own server status page tracks login problems as players report them. That is a seller's tracker, not Blizzard's.
What if I cannot log in or I am in a queue?
Blizzard's pages I read give no queue sizes or launch-evening behaviour. Start with launch day queues and errors. If the problem is your account, Blizzard's "Can't Log In?" recovery page is its stated route. Waiting is the only advice I can source for a full queue.
What is not confirmed yet
- How long the November 4 maintenance really runs; the schedule gives hours, and outlets note launches can overrun.
- Whether and where Blizzard posts WoW Forever status on the Realm Status page.
- Queue lengths and error behaviour at 3:00 p.m.
How can the Lore Forever add-on and Willo help with this?
Once you are in, the free Lore Forever add-on adds readable and recorded stories for zones, cities and dungeons, and it has no internet access. Willo is a separate companion app for Windows 10 or 11 and, per her page, Apple Silicon Macs (her FAQ, the Lore Forever FAQ and CurseForge still say Windows; Mac features are unconfirmed). Free to start with 50 answers a day. Both are fan-made, not affiliated with Blizzard, and Willo can be wrong. Install steps: all three together.
