How to Find a Guild in WoW Forever: Forums, Discord, Addons

To find a guild in World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever), match the ruleset, faction and region first, then browse Blizzard's WoW: Forever Community Connections forum or a fan directory, and group with the guild's members before you commit. Blizzard's Starter Guide says characters can join guilds only with players on the same ruleset and faction, as of November 6, 2026.

Quick answer: Pick your ruleset and faction, then read recruitment posts on the Community Connections forum (US and EU boards exist) or a fan directory. Check region, raid times and loot rules. Whether the game has an in-game guild finder is disputed.

Five steps to find a WoW Forever guild: fix ruleset and faction, search Community Connections or a fan directory, check region and raid times, group with members, then apply.
How to find a guild in WoW Forever, from Blizzard's Starter Guide, Blizzard forums and fan sites, as of November 6, 2026.

Key facts

  • Limit: guilds, groups, dungeons and raids use the same ruleset and faction (Blizzard Starter Guide)
  • Official board: "WoW: Forever Community Connections" on Blizzard's US and EU forums (Blizzard forums)
  • In-game finder: disputed between sources

Where do I look for a WoW Forever guild?

Blizzard's forum has a subforum named WoW: Forever Community Connections on both the US and EU boards. A Blizzard community manager, Kaivax, posted its welcome topic on September 12, inviting players to "find old guildmates right here". As of November 6 it held many recruitment posts, titled with tags for region, faction and ruleset, such as NA Alliance RP-PvP; EU guilds also posted on the EU forum with EU tags.

Is there a guild finder in the game?

Bind on Forever (October 27) says the game client contains a Guild Finder where guilds post listings, players apply, and officers accept or decline in the Guild and Communities window. This comes from client data, not play. WoW Forever Tier List (updated November 4) says none had been announced as of October, and Guild Order (September 23) says Blizzard's Forever articles do not describe one. Blizzard's Starter Guide says only to "join a guild". I could not check the live client, so test it yourself.

Which sites list guilds for NA, EU and Oceanic players?

Kami Labs hosts a third-party guild directory that filters by ruleset type, faction, focus, role wanted and language, and guild leaders can list their own guild. It has no region filter.

Forever Community, a fan-run volunteer hub with guild pages and player profiles, says it serves the US and Oceanic regions only after dropping EU support in October 2026. EU players can use Blizzard's EU board. I found no Forever-specific Oceanic board; the US forum has an Oceanic General Discussion category.

How do I choose a guild that fits?

WoW Forever Tier List says to fix ruleset, faction and region first and to compare schedules, not pitches. LFCarry, which sells paid guild membership, suggests asking:

  • Do ruleset and faction match your main, and do raid nights fit your time zone?
  • Does it use a loot council, points or rolls?
  • Who can withdraw from the guild bank, and how much per rank?

WoW Forever Tier List also advises grouping with a guild's members before committing. Blizzard says raids open December 9 (Barrow Deeps 10 players, Hyjal Summit 20, Onyxia's Lair 40). To meet people first, see the looking-for-group guide and how to play with friends.

What about guild recruiter addons?

CurseForge lists ForeverRecruiter, built for WoW Forever (Interface 16001), which searches for unguilded players, whispers a message and sends invites. It is third-party, aimed at recruiters, and last updated October 10.

What is not confirmed yet

  • In-game guild finder: reported from client data by one source, not announced per two others.
  • Searching with /who: no source I opened describes it for guilds.

Can the Lore Forever add-on and Willo help with this?

Neither finds guilds. The free Lore Forever add-on gives quest stories while you level, and Willo lets you ask questions out loud, such as "what is a guild charter". She can be wrong; in-game text and Blizzard's pages decide. Willo is free to start (50 answers a day) and is a separate companion app for Windows 10 or 11 and Apple Silicon Macs (macOS 12 or later), per her page; her FAQ and the Lore Forever FAQ say Windows and Mac, though CurseForge still calls her a Windows app. The add-on is fan-made, not affiliated with Blizzard, has no internet access, and narrates with generated voices.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find a guild in WoW Forever?

Choose your ruleset and faction, read recruitment posts on Blizzard's Community Connections forum or a fan directory, and apply to a guild that fits your schedule.

Does WoW Forever have a guild finder?

Unconfirmed: Bind on Forever found one in client data, while WoW Forever Tier List says none had been announced as of October.

No. Blizzard's Starter Guide limits guilds to the same ruleset and faction.

Where do EU players find guilds?

Blizzard's EU forum has its own WoW: Forever Community Connections board.

Is there a Discord for finding a guild?

Guild Order says Discord and content creators are the main recruiting channels beyond Blizzard's forums. Blizzard's Starter Guide names the official WoW Portal Room on Discord for companions and information; I did not open it, so I cannot say whether it lists guilds.
