WoW Forever Guild Recruitment Post Template (Copy and Fill In)

A good World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever) guild recruitment post opens with the facts a player must match: ruleset, faction, region, play times and, if you raid, raid days and loot system. Guild Order's recruiting guide says to put those boundaries in the first lines, and real posts on Blizzard's forum, as of November 6, 2026, follow that pattern.

Quick answer: Title with region, faction and ruleset tags. First lines: ruleset, faction, region, play times, loot system. Then who you are, who you want, and how to apply. Post it on Blizzard's Community Connections forum. The template is our own writing.

Key facts

• Limits to state: members must share your ruleset and faction (Blizzard Starter Guide)
• Where to post: WoW: Forever Community Connections, US and EU Blizzard forums
• Lead with: ruleset, faction, region, raid days in one time zone, loot system (Guild Order)
• Raids: 10, 20 and 40 players, opening December 9 (Blizzard)

What should a WoW Forever recruitment post include?

Guild Order (September 23) says to state the ruleset, faction, region and raid days in a single time zone, along with the loot system, in the first lines, and put schedule details and rules after.

A real Alliance PvE raiding post on Blizzard's forum, from around November 2, opens with labelled lines for ruleset, faction, raid days, raid times and loot system, then a short paragraph about the group and a Discord or Battle.net contact. Other launch-week posts put region, faction and ruleset tags in the title.

What is the template?

Copy this, replace the brackets, and delete lines that do not apply:

Title: [NA or EU] [Alliance or Horde] [ruleset tag] [Guild name] recruiting [classes or roles] [casual or raiding] Ruleset: [Normal, PvP, Roleplay or Roleplay-PvP] Faction: [faction] Region and time zone: [region, one time zone] Play times: [days and hours] Raid days and times: [only if you raid; your first raid opens December 9] Loot system: [loot council, points or rolls] About us: [two or three sentences: size, age range, tone, goals such as leveling together, dungeons, PvP or raids] We are looking for: [classes, roles, level range, play schedule] How to apply: [Discord handle or Battle.net tag, and what to include: character name, class, level, availability]

How should I handle the guild name and charter in a post?

Guild Order says guild name rules, including uniqueness and reservation, are not published. On November 5, players on Blizzard's forum reported a guild name showing as taken at registration; these are player posts, not confirmed bugs, and one poster says the name was probably taken. TimeSaver suggests choosing two backup names.

What should I ask applicants?

Guild Order's screening list for Forever asks which faction the player's account is locked to on the PvP ruleset, the full two-part name of the character they will bring, and whether they plan to play Hardcore once it opens.

How big a raid team should I ask for?

Blizzard says Barrow Deeps takes 10 players, Hyjal Summit 20 and Onyxia's Lair 40, all unlocking on December 9. Guild Order suggests a smaller core can start raiding. For loot wording, see need vs greed loot rules and the raids guide.

What is not confirmed yet

• Guild names: uniqueness and reservation rules are unpublished.
• Charter signatures and price: no Blizzard figure found; one player reported paying 10 silver for a charter on November 6, and others mention 10 signatures.
• In-game guild finder: disputed between sources.

Can the Lore Forever add-on and Willo help with this?

Neither writes or posts for you. The free Lore Forever add-on gives readable quest and NPC stories while you play, and Willo can answer questions out loud, such as "what do the rulesets mean". She can be wrong and is not official; Blizzard's pages are the source of truth. Willo is free to start (50 answers a day) and is a separate companion app for Windows 10 or 11 and Apple Silicon Macs (macOS 12 or later), per her page; her FAQ and the Lore Forever FAQ say Windows and Mac, though CurseForge still calls her a Windows app. The add-on is fan-made, not affiliated with Blizzard, has no internet access, and narrates with generated voices.
