WoW Forever Guild Bank: Is There One and What Does It Cost?

Players report that World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever) has a guild bank and that the first tab costs 100 gold, but Blizzard has published no guide to it, so the price, tab count and withdrawal rules are player reports, not official numbers, as of November 6, 2026.

Quick answer: A guild bank appears to exist, and players say the first tab costs 100 gold. Blizzard has not published tab prices, how many tabs there are, or who may withdraw. Ask your guild master before depositing anything, and check the bank in the game.

Key facts

  • Exists: reported by players on Blizzard's forum on November 5, 2026; no Blizzard guide found, but a Blizzard community manager's October 13 post names guild banks
  • First tab: 100 gold, per beta forum threads cited by TimeSaver and a November 5 Blizzard forum post
  • Later tabs: no Forever price found in any source I opened
  • Withdrawal rules: not published for Forever
  • Same ruleset and faction: Blizzard's Starter Guide limits guilds to players on the same ruleset and faction

Does WoW Forever have a guild bank?

Apparently. On November 5 a player on Blizzard's forum thanked Blizzard for "adding Guild Banks to Forever" and said bank alts were no longer needed. A second thread asks how long a guild will take to collect the 100 gold for the first slot. Both are single player posts. Blizzard community manager Kaivax's October 13 economy-hold post says held accounts have "restricted use of trade, mail, guild banks and the Auction House", but it does not describe Forever's bank.

Before launch the picture conflicted. Bind on Forever (October 27) said Blizzard had not announced guild banks, though the game client contained guild bank messages, and cited a creator who saw none in the beta on October 5. TimeSaver and LFCarry cite beta reports of a 100 gold price. Guild Order (September 25) treated the bank as unconfirmed.

How much does the guild bank cost in WoW Forever?

TimeSaver (November 2, updated November 3) says the first tab cost 100 gold in the beta, citing two Blizzard forum threads where players report that figure, and says no Forever price list for later tabs exists. LFCarry, which sells paid guild membership, says the same and that Blizzard has not published tab costs. TimeSaver sells gold and boosting services.

The Warcraft Wiki's guild bank page names no Classic-era version. It says guild banks arrived in patch 2.3.0 (2007), there are eight tabs, the first costs 100 gold and the eighth 20,000. Forever's tab count is unconfirmed, so do not plan around those prices.

Who can take items and gold out of the guild bank?

Nobody has published Forever's rules.

The Warcraft Wiki page says the guild master can allow, disallow or limit deposits and withdrawals per tab and per rank, and that withdrawal limits can be set. Forever's window may differ.

Bind on Forever also found a client message saying self-found characters cannot use the guild bank: one source, game files, not an announced rule.

Where is the guild bank?

No source I opened gives a confirmed location. Bind on Forever cites QuestieDB data placing a Guild Vault near the banks in Stormwind, Darnassus and Ratchet, a community claim I could not verify.

What is not confirmed yet

  • Official description: no Blizzard guide to the Forever guild bank.
  • Prices, tabs, slots and withdrawal limits: only the first tab's price, from players.

Can the Lore Forever add-on and Willo help with this?

Neither changes your bank. When a menu confuses you, ask Willo out loud, for example "how do guild bank tabs work". She can be wrong and is not official, so the in-game text and Blizzard's pages decide. Willo is free to start (50 answers a day) and is a separate companion app for Windows 10 or 11 and Apple Silicon Macs (macOS 12 or later), per her page; her FAQ and the Lore Forever FAQ say Windows and Mac, though CurseForge still calls her a Windows app. The free Lore Forever add-on adds quest stories and narration from generated voices, has no internet access, and is fan-made and not affiliated with Blizzard.
