What changed for Druid talents?
Blizzard's notes say Lacerate is now a one-point Feral talent on row 4, replacing Primal Bite there, with two ranks added because it is learned earlier, so not every Druid learns it. Berserk is removed. Primal Bite takes its row 7 slot as a one-point talent that requires Leader of the Pack, and Shifting Power is now a one-point row 7 talent that requires the new Predatory Discipline. Predatory Discipline is a new row 4 talent that changes Ferocious Bite. Rend and Tear rose to 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15% (was 2 to 10%), and Leader of the Pack again boosts all critical strikes.
In Restoration, Bloom replaces Gift of the Earthmother and heals a target when your Rejuvenation or Regrowth expires. Non-talent changes: a new passive, Poised, at level 32; Shred 200% weapon damage (was 155%), Claw 140% (was 110%), Ravage 435% (was 350%); roughly 25% more for Rip, Rake, Ferocious Bite and Pounce.
What changed for Paladin talents?
Righteous Fury can be trained at level 10 (was 16), matching other tanks, and is made free by the Legacy talent The Quick and the Dead. Salvation, Mass Salvation, Revoke and Blessing of Light were removed. Judgement of Fury lasts 3 seconds (was 4).
- Holy: Oath of Light, a new row 4 talent, protects one ally for 5 minutes with extra Holy Light, Flash of Light and Holy Shock healing; Boundless Light, new on row 5, adds 15 or 30% Holy Shock crit on allies without your Oath. Holy Power raises crit healing bonus by up to 50%.
- Protection: Stoicism and Shieldsworn are new; Swift Judgement now unleashes the active Seal without sharing Judgement's cooldown; One-Handed Weapon Specialization is removed.
The notes also moved many Holy and Retribution talents between rows; I did not verify every line.
Where do outlets differ from Blizzard?
Kami Labs, an unofficial site, adds items it says came from game data on October 30 and not from the notes: Shifting Power's cooldown falling from 16 to 8 seconds and Improved Shifting Power removed. Treat those as single-source until you see them in game.
What is not confirmed yet
- Point costs: some talents changed ranks, and Kami Labs says client tooltips it checked still showed pre-patch values, so check in game
- Levels 31 to 60: the beta capped at level 30
- Respec costs: see respec and talent reset
How can the Lore Forever add-on and Willo help with this?
Ask Willo out loud, for example "what does Lacerate do". She can be wrong and is not official, so check the talent tooltip. Willo is free to start with 50 answers a day and is a separate companion app for Windows 10 or 11 and Apple Silicon Macs (macOS 12 or later), per her page; her FAQ and the Lore Forever FAQ say Windows and Mac, though CurseForge still calls her a Windows app. The free Lore Forever add-on tells the story of quests and places, has no internet access and uses generated voices. Both are fan-made and not affiliated with Blizzard. See the Druid talent build and Paladin talent build.
