Tower of Althalaxx

The Tower of Althalaxx is an ancient Highborne spire standing in northern Darkshore near the coast. Once an isolated retreat for the sorcerer Athrikus Narassin before the Great Sundering, it has become infested by demonic cultists and warlocks practicing dark arts.

Ten thousand years ago, Queen Azshara settled favored Highborne servants in the coastal towns of Ameth'Aran and Bashal'Aran, placing the powerful sorcerer Athrikus Narassin in authority over them. Growing distant from civic governance, Athrikus chose to isolate himself within the nearby Tower of Althalaxx. When the Great Sundering shattered ancient Kalimdor, the tower endured along the desolate coastline of Darkshore, standing as a quiet ruin of forgotten elven magics.
