Thelsamar

Thelsamar is the primary dwarven settlement in Loch Modan, nestled on the western bluffs overlooking the great lake. Positioned along the main road between Dun Morogh and the Wetlands, it serves as a bustling hub of commerce, hospitality, and civic defense against surrounding trogg and ogre incursions.

Thelsamar serves as the central bastion of dwarven civilian life in the valley. Built with traditional Khaz Modan stone and timber architecture, it features the lively Stoutlager Inn, a dedicated gryphon roost, crafting stations, and various supply merchants. Sitting directly on the thoroughfare connecting the South Gate Pass into Dun Morogh with the North Gate Pass toward the Wetlands, almost all travelers through the region pass beneath its warm hearths and stout roofs.
