Steamwheedle Port

Tucked against the dunes along the South Seas, Steamwheedle Port offers the inland desert city of Gadgetzan a direct lifeline to maritime trade. Run by the Steamwheedle Cartel, the settlement bustles with dockhands, traders, and sea captains braving the treacherous waters. Supply vessels regularly ply the routes between here and distant goblin trading posts, bringing valuable mechanical components, luxuries, and raw materials into southern Kalimdor.

Life on the port is far from peaceful. Just south along the coast lies Lost Rigger Cove, home to rampant Southsea Freebooters who regularly raid goblin shipping, steal cargo, and contest control of the coastline. Aside from haggling dockworkers and paranoid merchants trying to recover stolen shipments, the port also shelters unusual travelers, such as the enigmatic troll Yeh'kinya, who studies the ancient and ominous spirits of the world away from prying eyes.
