Wavestrider Beach
Wavestrider Beach is the sun-scorched coastal strip lining the eastern edge of Tanaris. Stretching between Steamwheedle Port and the pirate stronghold at Lost Rigger Cove, its sands are inhabited by aggressive crustacean wildlife and overlook distant naval skirmishes out at sea.
A Treacherous Coastline
Running along the ocean border of eastern Tanaris, Wavestrider Beach connects the goblin settlement of Steamwheedle Port in the north to the cliffs guarding Lost Rigger Cove to the south. Rather than a gentle resort, the shoreline is plagued by vicious Steeljaw Snappers and Desert Crawlers scuttling across the baking sand. Out in the deep water just offshore, burning vessels remain locked in a perpetual naval clash, serving as a grim warning of the piratical violence that dominates these coastal waters.
