Scuttle Coast

The Scuttle Coast is the wave-battered eastern shoreline of Durotar, situated between Razor Hill and Tiragarde Keep. The rocky beach is strewn with sunken wreckage from Admiral Daelin Proudmoore's Kul Tiras fleet, making it an active scavenging ground for the Horde and a lingering reminder of recent naval warfare.

Running along Durotar's eastern edge out to the Great Sea, the Scuttle Coast earned its grim character during the invasion led by Grand Admiral Daelin Proudmoore. When the Kul Tiras fleet assaulted the fledgling nation of Durotar, fierce battles with the Horde drove many human warships against the jagged shoals, smashing them into splintered hulks. Today, the shoreline is choked with barnacle-encrusted timber, broken rigging, and salvaged cargo barrels. For the nearby encampments of Razor Hill, the coast represents both a lingering security hazard and a valuable source of recovered provisions and abandoned Alliance mechanisms.
